Between Books and Coffee

After a few, ok more than a few, aborted attempts at something completely original I am ready to allow others to read my humble, and so far, very short attempt at original fiction. All feedback, good, bad and ugly is appreciated.

I put this up on fictionpress.com and a few people asked me if I worked in a bookstore café. No I don’t, however, my husband works for Barnes and Noble.com and with the job comes a very nice discount at our local store, including the café. I spent many hours there studying and doing my grad school homework. This story is what happened when I did too much daydreaming and not enough studying. But I am happy to say I graduated with very good grades and while I am gainfully unemployed I figured I would put my imagination to good use.

For those of you wondering if I’m going to give up on Josh, Donna and the rest of the West Wing family, no way, writing other people’s characters is so much easier and much less frightening!!
